Fintech Finance Manager

Job Description:
- The Finance Manager is responsible for financial reporting, R&D project support, building and enhancing financial models, budgeting, and forecasting.
- You will be working cross-functionally within the business to help support the overall company strategy.
- Due to our fast-paced start-up environment, the duties and responsibilities will evolve over time, so we are looking for someone who has the capacity and desire to grow within the position.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Working with other internal stakeholders and outside tax preparers in connection with tax returns preparation and submission.
- Treasury management and revenue reconciliation.
- Provide strategic advice to other business stakeholders.
- Management of supplier payments and procurement process.
- Manage and grow the team.
- Dealing with external auditors.
- Taking on ad hoc tasks as required in a start-up environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent with 5 years experience at a consulting, corporate finance, or audit firm.
- Strong financial reporting experience in the finance, consumer lending, or technology sectors.
- Previous experience within a Multi-Currency, Multi-Company, Multi-Jurisdiction environment is a plus.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
- Ability to check for accuracy and give good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly tasks, work on own initiative.
- Quick learner as multiple systems will need to be used to get tasks done.
- Task-orientated with the ability to work to very tight deadlines.
